In Memory of Marc Smith Sacks
Marc Smith Sacks partners with business leaders and organizations to create scalable, high-impact team transformations designed to accelerate performance and build long-term business impact into the cultural DNA. Marc is a hands-on, strengths-based, results-focused practitioner who breaks through chaos and complexity with strategic clarity and unlocks team momentum.
Marc’s clients have included Intuit, Splunk, PayPal, Facebook, LinkedIn, Nutanix, Hewlett-Packard, eBay, Databricks, Cisco Systems, Fujitsu Labs, Hitachi, Western Digital, Marvell, SanDisk, Novo Nordisk, Deloitte, Wells Fargo, Blockfi, and the Minnesota Twins.
Marc is a professional certified mentor coach, faculty member of The Coach Partnership in Singapore, and certified multi-stakeholder facilitator. He completed three years of advanced training in organizational coaching with the Institute for Generative Leadership (IGL), received his master’s degree in nonprofit administration and organizational development from Regis University, and earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental science and mathematics from University of California at Santa Cruz.
When Marc is not facilitating transformation, you might find him with his wife and daughter pruning fruit trees on their organic farm in the Santa Cruz Mountains, skateboarding through the local farmers market, playing out in the ocean on the North Coast, or scaling a big wall in Yosemite National Park.
Marc is committed to truth, compassion, and conscious future creation for himself and all others. During and after college, Marc ran several nonprofit programs, which provided long-term leadership development and social support for at-risk youth and their families. He now supports local nonprofits in Santa Cruz County and chairs bi-annual partner meetings for the Agricultural Lands Conservancy.
