Before founding IdeaShape and collaborating to build Altus Growth Partners, Pam guided major financial and healthcare companies through strategic change with Bain & Company and Accenture.

Pam accelerates the growth of leaders to become outsize contributors to healthy leadership teams and productive innovation in their companies, products, and industries. She helps them build organizations that bring people alive at work, as well as adapt to changing technologies and market needs. Navigating this pandemic has strengthened Pam’s resolve to coach leaders to grow as empathetic, self-aware, generative, and adaptable. She is working with clients to make the most of this turbulent time to meet real customer needs, adjust business models, sustain spirits, make wise decisions, communicate clearly, and collaborate better than ever across the organization and external ecosystems. 

Pam’s MBA is from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business (GSB), where she later served as Guest Fellow in leadership and Master Coach for executive education. She helped refresh the GSB’s Leading Diverse Organizations course and was senior facilitator for the class alumni rate most valuable: Interpersonal Dynamics. She holds a 3-year advanced certification in organizational coaching from the Institute for Generative Leadership (IGL), and she coaches in the IGL Global Leadership Program. Pam also helps leaders and teams draw insight from the Enneagram and Myers-Briggs, for which she has keynoted international conferences. Her book, 42 Rules for Your New Leadership Role: The Manual They Didn’t Hand You When You Made VP, Director, or Manager is seen as an essential pocket guide for navigating those critical first months.

Pam is committed to building a world where everyone thrives. She enjoys making a difference via her clients (including B corps), community boards (such as food banks and wilderness education), and direct volunteering with youth and civil rights. Pam enjoys spending time with her teenagers and husband, improving her Spanish through service, and encouraging friends and community members to make good on big offers to the world, while living in peace and health.
