We all have ingrained biases. The video below depicts the challenges our brains face when learning to ride a backward bicycle after learning to ride a regular bicycle, the necessary rewiring takes a fair bit of work. Biases are like well-worn paths in our brains, shaped by years of conditioning and societal influences. However, by actively questioning our assumptions, exposing ourselves to diverse perspectives, and consciously challenging our preconceptions, we can begin to dismantle these biases and forge new, more inclusive neural pathways.
Let’s embrace the power of neuroplasticity to cultivate a more open-minded and empathetic approach to the world around us! 💪 Since we are what we practice, what will you practice?
